    Im sure you all are aware of the big push for windows 7 on their laptops that they selll and blah blah blah..so im gonna cut right to the point.

    I got a Asus G51vx for $999 yesterday (Because they refused to sell me a asus G60 since it has windows 7 preloaded on it...and the fact the G60 is just a minor refresh of the G51) and went back just out of curiosity to browse around.

    The G51 went from being $999, then completly sold out, then being a online only outlet item for $949, and then finally price slashed to $899 at the store.

    Point of the post: If you got it within the past two weeks go back and see if you can get the difference in advertised price as BB has been ok honoring them (At least in my own personal experience.) I went back and got $100 put back on my credit so worth a try.

    Thanks for the info, I got mine for $901.99 + tax. Any chance I can swap it for the G60? I'd like the bigger screen.
