I recently bought an ASUS G1S-A1 laptop for $1450 from ZipZoomFly, and I have to say, I love it!

This is the most comfortable laptop i've used and the keyboard action is awesome...... The laptop's features are really nice, and overall I think its the best notebook in the $1200-$1500 range........ why spend over $2000 for Clevo/Sager or Dell XPS?

Anyone else have G1S? What do you all think?

Actually the competing Clevo/Sager goes for about 1600-1800. The thing that won me over with the G1S when I was shopping for it 1 month ago was teh HDMI output and the video card.

I got it for $1450 from ZipZoomFly due to a $40 instant rebate from ZZF and the $80 mail-in rebate from ASUS that they were promoting during the month of October......

Of course I bought mine right before the rebate thing came about... go figure... but yes to answer your original question, I love this computer. I'm very happy I went with this choice as opposed to anything else in this price range
