Which one in your opinion is a better PC.....ASUS F8SN-D1 or ASUS F8VA-B1? I need to make a final decision. I'm new to ASUS and not sure if there has been any problems with either model. I'm assuming everyone knows their ASUS models which is why I'm not posting the specs...if not, I'll post them.

    Thanks.

Both models are nearly identical except for the GPU. I would go with the F8VA right now since it uses the Montevina chipset and utilizes ATI graphics card(free from any Nvidia problem).

What about them? Yes, you get the cheesy catalyst driver software bugs, LOL at least there isn't a die packaging problem that would cause eminent GPU failure.

I was just kidding. I think all the hoopla over Nvidia is cyclic just like ATI's scare earlier.

Of course if my 9500 poops out I may change my tune. :)

In the rapidly changing world of computers it is better to buy newest model - at least for a few months you have something you tend to believe is the best.
Exception is a bargain deal when you buy your dream of yesterday for cheap.
    I vote for Va model
