    Hi Asus owners

I'm from India and now in the market to buy a new Asus laptop (N61Ja). I would like to buy the laptop from USA (XoticPC[Justin]/PNB[Donald]) through my friend at USA and my friend will bring it to India for me.

Then, I wonder, will all the offered warranties by Asus, still be applicable in India ? Or there is something I'll loose ?

Again, Will XoticPC/PNB ship the laptop to India directly? then I'll skip buying through my friend at USA.

Frankly speaking Asus, India is not so popular in India as its in USA (thats wh I feel), which drives me to this buying route.

    Thank you.

The warranty is "global" theoretically, which means it should be serviceable at any point in the world where there is an ASUS service point. Here is the contact information for India:

    India
    ASUS Technology Pvt. Ltd. *
    18002090365 (10:00-18:00 Mon. ~ Sat.)

    Mumbai
4C Gundecha Onclave, Kherani Road, Sakinaka, Andheri East, Mumbai- 400072, India.

Maybe give them a call just to make sure the warranty will work.

I think some resellers mentioned in the InfoBooth (see my signature) do ship internationally. Not sure if that includes XoticPC/PNB, you should check their site or contact the rep directly.

Do not forget to take into account the shipping and customs fees when considering the price of the notebook.

Lastly, I am moving this to the main ASUS forum.

If you are referring to the N61JQ it is expected in the next 5-9 business days.
