The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just a heads up to those considering the purchase of an Asus based machine from PortableOne: I've posted a few links with info about the TrioLED transflective display in this thread over in the PortableOne forum, in the hope that the info I found while trying to make my own decision might be of help to others here.

    thanks for the link. I debated going with it but for $400 more I could get the new W3J refresh. Didn't seem worth it. Maybe it'd be a nice $100 upgrade but not a $400 upgrade.
