    Hey!

I'm the owner of a new A8F. Here in Denmark the notebook is sold with a 6-cell battery-pack. I was wondering if anyone knows about a 9-cell battery-pack for this model or am i stuck with the 6-cell..?

Sorry if this is considered off-topic.

Just an update, had a call from CRC, the unit is now fixed and is intended to be shipped today, so (hopefully) will get the A8F back on Monday.

They have said I will get compensation, the amount though has not been discussed.

Just another update, if anyone is interested, still don't have my unit back.

On another note, have taken photos of my loan unit, an M6B00A and will get round to doing a little review of that. Suffice to say its a great piece of kit, really solid (zero keyboard flex) and looks nice. Also the speakers are by far the best I've ever heard on a laptop and the touchpad and touchpad buttons are great.

    Don't worry, I will be!

Well I now have the laptop back!! Arrived today about 30 minutes ago. Everything seems to be working (i.e. card slot). Scratchs still remain on the lid (but they were my fault).

What annoys me is it took 1 week for the unit to be couriered back.

I now will be writing a long email to Asus and CRC about my complaints.

Also need to arrange sending the loan unit back, however I may use it as hostage until I get my compensation back.

Just want to add everything seems to be fine, however the keyboard on the left side is super "musshy", while on the right side there is little or no flex.
