the back of the g51vx has two separate parts you can take off the one which is pretty easy to come off shows the graphics card, cpu, hard drive, etc (you guys know what i'm talking about) just curious what is behind the other cover?
I started noticing a scratching sound when my computer starts up so i took off the one cover thinking it was the hard drive but it turns out the sound is coming from underneath the other cover. It seems a little bit more difficult to take off so i thought i would ask here first.
also if anyone else has had a problem like this or knows what it might be i would appreciate any info.
thank you for your time.

That's where the nuclear reactor is. Just tape it up with some nuclear grade duct tape ( http://www.amazon.com/3M-Performance-8979N-48-Millimeter-54-8-Meter/dp/B000NG3ZKI) and you'll be set.
But seriously, that is where your HDD is. And the scratching sound is Windows checking to see if the disk in your optical drive is relevant to Vista booting up. -
Th dvd drive is held in by 2 screws. That is most likely the problem.
Inside the g51vx?
