The funny part is that I am able to get into the recovery options, but when selecting the recovery tool to restore Windows - regardless of the choice (two partition, entire drive, C: drive refresh) it ultimately errors saying the WIM file cannot be found.

A manual investigation of this hidden, active primary profile does show all 3 recovery file segments.

I deleted all partitions except the recovery one. This time I get the screen asking which OS to load; since only the recovery partition exists I chose that one... Still got the same error.

Can I boot via BartPE and launch the recovery tool? I did duplicate its contents onto a flash drive.

Otherwise, do I just have to reformat the whole kit'n'kaboodle? I don't have the original DVD, but have a retail disc and the license # is still in its proper place on the machine's underside... (As a technet member, I think I can download the OEM version if the retail disc cannot be used)

Thx for any help you could give!
