I had a question for those of you who have replaced the factory drive with an SSD.

When you duplicate the factory drive prior to installing do you also copy the hidden ASUS system partition?

As part of the question, what size SSD did you install?

At this time I think I need a 40GB minimum (formatted 37.2GB)- 10GB for the recovery partition and my current drive has 22 GB used for OS and most of the programs I care about (MS Office, Firefox, Thunderbird, Canon Zoombrowser).

That would leave only 5 GB for data and future programs, but all the Word and Excel files for the last 17 months of my home business total only 39 MB, so using a plug in drive for image files etc should be able to handle the rest.

    Any opinions appreciated.
