    Instanton = bust?

    After realizing my instanton on my new a8jr doesnt work I did some research. It appears most peoples do not work.
    Was any fixes/workarounds ever found?

    It does not appear so. I'm guessing ASUS had a license deal with the company behind InstantOn, but it fell through at the last minute.

    InstantOn is pratically half useless. The loading time and interface for the InstantON Media center is slow and sluggish.

    It is false advertising that has been in existance for a few years

    I do believe its an actual failure of the orignal hardware that they just wired around, and then concocted an entirely worthless peice of software to fit with the orignal description.

    Only a few asus models, w2j is one actually have this feature. Asus didnt really bring this feature to market even though its on $500 dells and acers etc.
