Hi, I've had this problem ever since I got my N61jv, but I was willing to ignore it until now. Now I'm pretty tired of fixing my graphics settings every time I have to give permission to run a program. The problem is that I've extensively tuned the settings to make the crappy screen look ok, but when the permission dialog pops up, it all goes away as it reverts back to factory graphics settings. It is weird because the settings themselves don't change, when I reopen the graphics control panel, my settings are all still there, they just have no effect. All I have to do it move one of the sliders a tad and it all goes back to being good, but it is getting annoying having to do this so often. I am updated to the most recent drivers Asus offers, but there are new ones at Intel. I was just wondering if anyone else was having this strange problem and if there is an easy fix before I try some new drivers.

    Thanks,
    Jarrod

I just discovered that if I let it sit long enough to shut off the screen, that also "fixes" it. Anyone have any idea what exactly is triggering this and how I can stop it?
