When I boot my V1S up i get the asus logo then the machine shows something along the lines of 'Press Ctrl P - Intel Engine Management something'

First how on earth is the password supossed to be formatted, I have tried loads but still haven't managed to change the default password and therefore access the thing.

Secondly what the heck is this and what is it for?

Thanks, I know that most of you being much smarter than I am will soon enlighten me.

Found the answer on another forum but for anyone that needs to know heres what I found:

-Password must be at least eight characters long.
-The characters “ ‘ , and : are not allowed.
-Password must have at least one digit character (e.g., 0, 1, 2, 9).
    -Password must have at least one non-alphanumeric character (e.g., !, @, $).
-Password must contain both upper and lower case alphabetic characters (e.g., A, a, B, b).
