Whenever I want to close IE7 on WinXP it doesn't close right away, but instead clears the page and then after a second or so closes. I can't remember it behaving this way in the past and this is off of a fresh clean install. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? All my other programs and windows close promptly (like instantly) except for IE.
Laptop is ASUS F3F... i'm wondering if it's the cpu driver update i installed from the driver cd?
Thanks!

easy fix for this. Download firefox =P.

I figured it out... it was the Skype add-on causing it! Problem solved.

saying that was off-topic so why not go with it anyway

Well as long as you already said it I thought me saying it again would reinforce the statement while only making the thread slightly more offtopic.
But we're going offtopic. -
