A week ago I bought my ASUS K40IJ, so far so good, the only problem I got is that, the webcam is inverted or image is upside down. I don't know how to solve it...

I went to the webiste of ASUS and went to the forums, someone did this steps and it works for his Laptop...

He's using a K40IN and it used to have the same problem. Current OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Mine is Windows 7 Ultimate and 32 bit.

    here's what he did.
    1. download the latest Chicony (or Suyin) driver for Windows 7.
    2. extract contents to desktop.
    3. click the ORB button. right-click on Computer and select Properties.
    4. select Device Manager.
    5. click on Imaging Devices to show the name of the webcam.
    6. right-click on the name of the webcam and select Properties.
    7. go to the Driver tab. click on Update Driver. a new window should pop-up.
    8. click 'Browse my computer for driver software'. select 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'.
    9. on the next window, it'll give you the current driver. click 'Have Disk'. click Browse. Browse to the desktop and select lastest driver that you've downloaded. it'll be then added to the list of drivers. select the new driver and click Next. Just follow the prompts so that it'll install the new driver.

    that should solve the problem.

My problem is how to download the latest Chicony driver...?

I found a website in ASUS saying that this is the driver for the ASUS Webcam:

    http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&product=3&model=K40Ij&type=map&f_type=28

What driver shall I choose, What driver shall I am going to download?

Hope someone will help me...Thank you!

Hey Sir EIement, Thanks for the reply...I already know what I'll download. It's the Suyin, thanks to you...I already downloaded the Suyin, I chose the Global, I hope I did it right. But when I clicked it, there was a prompt saying that if I'll save it or open, I just save it to my Drive D. So whats next, I believe I'm still at step #1.
