I just wanted to make sure that it was really the DDR3 version... sometimes web sites claim they have a ddr3 card when they really dont. Also i was curious, is ddr3 any different than Gddr3? I didnt see a G before the ddr and didnt know if that was important or not. Heres the link to the site selling it...

I am trying to decide if i want the A7K-A1 or a m51sn-A1 equipped with a 9500 gs 512mb ddr2 gpu. Still debating on how big of a laptop i want, and concerned about which gpu is better. If the A7K-A1 is indeed ddr3/gddr3 would that mean it has a more powerful GPU than the m51sn-A1(9500 gs card)? Thanks a lot for the help. Feel free to give any additional comments about either of these two laptops.

"GDDR" Simply means the DDR memory is soldered onto the graphics card(GPU)

As far as making sure it's the GDDR3 version, I would call Asus to confirm.
