We need to know what you are going to use it for before we can say wether or not it will be good for you. Build quality and portability are it's strengths.

    Thanks for the response... :)
I mostly use a notebook for work. It means that performance, quality builds, and portability must be equivalent. Is ASUS W3H00A and ASUS Z63A Series the same ? what is the difference?
Does you guys have any complaint when using the notebook?

    Regards,

    Sumardi

W3A is a fancy name for Z63A i guess. Everything is the same.
You'll get the quality and portability alright. But what kinda work are we doing here? If you are using it for word processing, occasional DVD viewing, wifi, etc..., none graphic intensive stuff; this baby rock.

If you want something with more powerful graphic, there's a W3V which has ATI X600 in it. However, that one come with a pretty heavy price tag. ~$1699 +-$70

I See, i mostly using it for compiling (VS.NET or Anything related to IDE Programming) so powerful graphic is not the major thought. Do you know how much does it cost?

A good spec for Z63A with
    Intel Pentium M 740 1.73 ghz
    512MB DDR2 533Mhz
    60GB 5400RPM
    Intel 2915 a/b/g wireless
    DVD/CDRW combo + OS
come with case and wireless mouse

    That shouldn't be over $1300.
    Try www.geared2play.com or proportable ^_^

Looks like I'll be getting the Z63a this weekend I believe... I know for a fact that it's a pretty good machine - especially considering what you pay!

    My specs should be:
    Intel Pentium-M 740 (1.73 GHz)
    1 GB DDR2 RAM
    60 GB HDD 5400 RPM 8M cache
    DVD burner
Intel PRO/wireless 2200BG (although I might opt for the 2915abg)

    M6Ne...no B :p

Graphics-wise, yes, but I need something more portable...although the Z63a isn't that much lighter than the M6Ne, it's more the form-factor that I'm looking for.
