I haven't had any freezing problems, though I haven't played those specific games on it. I play Crysis, Bad Company 2, FSX, Arma 2 and Warcraft. On BC2 I can play with settings on max. Crysis is tough, and although you can play on high settings-- medium is probably better. It is a gaming system, for sure. Yesterday I installed an i7 820 cpu in my G60JX and while it is faster for certain programs, games like Crysis didn't get too much faster. The graphics card isn't as fast as I would have liked-- but all in all I don't have any complaints. For $825 you would be hard pressed to find another system with these specs.

Wut. I was completely unaware that Asus would even sell a "gaming laptop" with the lowest end CPU in Intel's current line-up. No offense, but that's not good. I'd be wanting an i5-430M at the least. Optimally something around the i5-540M mark.
