    "Fastness" is all relative.

    However, even on my U36 with an i5 460M CPU, I can easily run PS CS5 and Illustrator 3 simultaneously. Large files takes a little longer to process but it's still manageable IMO.

    The processor in that machine should be able to manage that without a problem. If you get into some of the video applications the GPU on this isn't the best, so as David said it will probably take a while. Otherwise, I think it's a nice little machine and it is light weight for easy portability.
