Justin, or any other reseller. Any new info on whether the Z70va w/DVI is still scheduled to appear next week? I've heard mention that it may never come out. I hope that's not true....

Asus just played stupid today.... they said they are focused on getting the z70va' w/ vga and internal bluetooth out this week and that's "all they know" .... The "never come out" comment though is false, it's been long known that Asus was putting DVI on this unit and even up till a few weeks ago, 3rd or 4th week of September was the ETA.

I breathe a small sigh of relief because GearedToPlay (Eddie) says a "source" indicated to him that the DVI version would likely never appear. I'm putting my faith in your sources, Justin. Hope they don't disappoint! :)

    Hey
I didnt say never. Just said not in this model. Perhaps in another refresh. Anyone know when that will be out? My source does not work for asus by the way. My source dont even speak english. Tis a big round crystal ball. If the next shipment does not have dvi dont hold your breath. :)

I think we have to realize that these preliminary dates that appear from anonymous sources aren't always going to be completely correct.

    Yes!!! Thank YOU!!!
You will not see me quoting any eta's until they are actually in stock. When we get em is when we ship em. Same time as everyone hopefully this time around.

Today's update - US office called off the DVI shipment till possibly the next version, in January or February when the dual-core systems come out. Asus said up until today, the ETA was still the end of the 3rd week of September.

Awww, that's bad news Justin :(. I guess I'll stop holding out for DVI and order mine once CanadaSys gets the internal Bluetooth modules.
