    Asus has only "certified" the 3.0 and 3.2 (630 & 640) for that model.... however, the 3.8 (670) will work..... but there isn't a "better" cpu to put in that system.

    Do you have it already or are you still trying to figure out what to buy? If so, by time you decide the Z81sp is going to be EOL... so you might want to start looking at newer models.
