    Is S/PDIF optical and coaxial

    Hi, guys. I wanted to ask whether the S/PDIF on Asus laptops (specifically M50Vc) was an optical (toslink) out or a coaxial out. It's important because of different cables I'd have to use in each case when I'll try to connect it to DAC (Digital to Analog converter for audio).

    There is little to no information about that in the internets and so far I've only seen one guy state all Asus' lappies SPDIFs are optical. Also a thread here says it's coaxial.

    P.S. Mistyped the title! Should be "or" instead of "and".
