    Is a 15.4 wsgxa non-glossy Yonah ensemble model coming?

    Last September I was about to buy a Z70Va when the red-ghosting issues occurred...no problem, I thought I would just wait until they were fixed and they were sometime later.

    But during the process, I was understanding the warranty situation with "Built-on" Asus models as compared with ensemble models. I travel a lot, around the world and there are times I am away in another country, like China, for a month or more. The fact that the warranty was provided by the reseller, even though I was planning to buy it from Proportable and had complete faith and confidence in that, it seemed to me that it would be somewhat difficult for me if I had a problem when I was on the other side of the globe.

    During that period, I heard about Yonah, how it was to make notebooks lighter.

    SO I thought I would just wait. By this time it was mid-December -- I was buried in work and had no time to deal with a new computer anyway.

    SO here it is, approaching mid- January.

    I have been eagerly awaiting Justin's posts....

    My current lap top..which though a great top of the line IBM is approaching its 6th year. And as it's been threatening all fall, it seems more urgently telling me it wants to bite the dust...

    I really liked the z70va, I would have been happy with it but for the warranty issue...

    But what is in the offing?

    I do a ton of multi-tasking..the Yonah seems perfect for me... I can't use the glossy screen...my eyes will die...I am sometimes in front of my computer for 10 hours straight. But from what I read of Justin's posts...the only 15.4" coming down the pike is glossy (and I think not wsgxa)

    The w1j will be imported, but I think we're looking at late March...... that's the only worthwhile 15.4" that'll be available as an ensemble.

    Is that a glare or non-glare screen? and is it wsgxa?

    What about built-ons? I would rather get a built-on than compromise on what I want..

    That will be a glaretype colorshine......

    Nothing good looking on the custom side for the first few months......... but 15.4" should be out in March..
