    ...opening the top of my g2s-b1 and resituating my screen?

    there are 4 hex screws, right on top, im so tempted to try...has anyone done anything like this before?

    Light leakage is a combination of positioning of the CFL tube and probably internal characteristics of the screen itself. Anything you do as proposed will likely void warranty if something happens and you end up sending it in.....

    But would the light leakage go away? The screen will be fixed in the exact same position, I don't see how light leakage could change.

    this is not possible. light leakage is a problem of the LCD module its self. You would have to buy an other module that doesn't have light leakage.

    you got the wxga+ or the wuxga+ version?

    and honestly, my light leak is nothing compared to typical leakage, i was just curious.
