the problem is that I don't see the slot for the second card.Right now I've got 1x1024mb and I worried that there is no extra space for the upgrade.Does anybody have any info on this.
p.s.I am newbie in upgrades (never had one before),so maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

One stick is at the bottom of the laptop, which I'm sure you found.
The other is trickier, and should be underneath the keyboard. Look at the bottom of the W2v, there should be screws marked 'K'. Unscrew them, then flip open your laptop, and this part, I am not sure of hah.
Moving to ASUS forums, where they should know -
I seriously find it annoying that a lot of laptops from Asus come with the one stick of ram in the EASY access bottom panel while the hard to access second slot is under the keyboard.
They should stick the first module in the slot under the keyboard and leave the easy access slot for the user to access.
Jeez manufacturers and resellers you hear me!?!?!?!?!?!?
Rawrrrrrrrrr -
My w2v came with both slots filled up shampoo. so i put 1 gig sticks in each.

it isn't that hard to access and i don't even own an Asus
you Asus chronies just got noobed ^_^ (don't mind me please)

Who said it was hard its only like 5 screws and the keyboard pops right off.

Remember not everyone is willing to touch hardware for the first time.
Some people are afraid to even remove their batteries so I'm speaking for the mainstream futureshop consumer. -
Thnx a lot guys!!! I really appreciate it!!!
p.s.I feel myself like a complete noob -
