With cheap sub $100 dollar laptop blue ray drives becoming more and more common is there one that would fit the C90S. The current DVD super multi drive is held in by only 1 screw and is very easy to remove and replace. There is a replacement blueray drive officially available but it costs at least $260.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

any bd drive with work. Make sure the connection on the back is the same. I think some of the new notebooks utilize a sata connect vs. ide. the other problem is the faceplate. not all drives will take your existing faceplate. Generally if you can see the pic and make sure the eject button is in the same place as your current drive then there is a good chance it will fit

That's true, but quite a generalization. I think the OP was looking for something (or a link) for his specific model.

    Thanks for both your replies.

Yeah if anyone has links to specific drives either ones that need modification to the front or not I would be grateful. Just don't want to spend twice as much as I should on a drive that could be found for half in generic form.
