Is it possible to upgrade an Asus N55SF-S2342V 900p screen to a 1080p screen?

hi guys, new to the forum, have searched around but cant seem to find any proper answers.

ive got a UK version of the asus n55sf and the screen has smashed on it, I have checked ebay and it looks like there are only 1080p screens available

does anyone know if the 1080p screen is compatible with the UK n55sf as only the US n55sf offered the 1080p screen

    thanks in advance

I would advise contacting Asus for a compatible screen. Sometimes you can upgrade the panel, but often times you can't. See if they can give you a part number if nobody on the forums has any personal experience or first hand knowledge with your particular model. :)
