I got my asus uc30jc-b1 laptop on Dec 04, 2010 and I already register this laptop under my name with ASUS and register for the ADW.

Anyway, due to economic hardship, I might need to sell this wonderful laptop to my friend, may I know will my friend still get the same 2 year wararnty coverage plus 1 year ADW inspite of the ownership is under my name ?

Not too sure how Asus's warranty system is working ?

    Please kindly advise ASAP.

As far as I know, the ADW is not transferable, it's only good for the original owner. If your friend lives nearby, you might want to keep it registered yourself until the 1 year is up if you are willing to handle the RMA for them.

The 2 year warranty is transferable, once you contact asus support and have them release the serial # from your account at vip.asus.com.

Even if you don't release the serial it will be covered for 2 years from the manufacture date, which can be determined by the serial number.
