    Safe to even buy :err:

I was just ready to pull the trigger on one yesterday and though maybe I should read up on them on a forum. Man, appears to be a lot of issues with this laptop with random shutdowns and getting hot. Has there been a fix yet?

    thanks

People have noted that the random shuts can be worked around by disabling wake on sleep for USB devices. The CPU does seem to run warmer than other Atom based systems. I'd probably hold off with this particular netbook if you're worried about overheating.
