I am wondering if i can over clock the gpu and or cpu on this computer (easily, like with sliders similar to coolbits, or a simple setting in the bios, nothing fancy). http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16834220305 The price is great and i am thinking performance is going to be pretty darn close to the 8600 + an intel cpu (right?) This is a pretty commonly used chassis, does anyone have experience overclocking with this chassis? i saw one one time and I remember the fan was somewhat small, although it never got very hot either... any one know?
    thanks

Only GPUs can be overclocked easily using widely available software - whether you could get the HD2600 up to the level of the 8600M GT is for someone else to comment on.

OC a cpu requires software hacks for FSB, possible voltage modifications, etc; there is nothing in the BIOS like you have in desktop MBs for this..... i.e. it cannot be easily done and is dangerous to boot. AMD mobile processors are underperforming compared to Intel's C2D chips anyway and cannot provide comparable performance when it comes to power draw/battery life - my suggestion would be to spend the extra couple hundred, if possible, and get the Intel version of the notebook.
