Is the ASUS N50Vn what I'm looking for?

I've already made a thread as to what laptop I should buy, and I've gotten many responses. After researching some more, I'm down to some ASUS models and some MSI models (GT627), specifically.

What I'm looking for, more or less, is a powerful laptop that can play current games, while being able to play less-intensive future games (hopefully Diablo III). I don't care about Crysis, I don't care about COD5...I'm not even much of a gamer anymore. I still want a laptop that can play stuff, though.

I need something light though. The Asus G50V X5 was looking good until I read how heavy and large it was. I'll need to take my laptop around, but not too much.

I also need decent battery life. Nothing phenomenal, maybe three hours max.

So is the N50Vn, which is $899 at Newegg, a laptop with a great size to power ratio?

Ultimately it comes down to how much you are willing to trade.. performance for size-savings :)

I don't think anyone can decide but you. I would say if I was actually planning to take it around a lot, the N50Vn is too big for me.
