Hi, I'm a college student looking to replace my old single-core Acer Aspire laptop, and I've found a computer that I've pretty much set my heart on --

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220694

It's got a dedicated GPU (a must for me) and sets me back $650.

What little I can find in the way of reviews is that it is, for its price, a great 'gaming'/performance laptop (the newest games I'm going to play on it is Age of Empires 3 and Rise of Legends, which ran like molasses on that aforementioned Aspire (yay Intel GMA)). Does anyone have it to vouch for its power and/or can anyone take a looksie at the specs and give me a hand? The video card, especially, I'm curious about -- videocardbenchmark.com places it in the high range, but I can't find anything official about it.

This computer is already out of the budget I had initially set for myself ($500) but I figured, eh, it's got longevity and all-around power... right?

EDIT: Yes, this is double-posted. I realized (after seeing them mentioned in another thread) that I would get more help from Asus-specific forums than from the "What Notebook..." forum....

this is actually quite crappy.. for $650 , u could get a refurbished Asus G51VX with Intel Core 2 Duo P8700+ NVIDIA GTX260M which would anhilate this. Have a look.. only problem is , its not new.. but refurbished books are not bad or anything.
