    Is the W3J backordered on GenTech currently?

    It doesn't seem to say on the website, and I know several other resellers have said theirs is backordered. I might be purchasing a W3J on gentech ( http://www.1toppc.com right?) in a few days. I'm wondering how long would it take for me to actually get it. And wether they test run the laptop before they ship it. If anyone has that info It'd be greatly appreciated.

    edit: it would also be nice to know what brand of HDD is used on the W3J

    I second the e-mail them. I have heard they have really good customer service, so you should just send them an e-mail and I'm sure they would answer all of your questions directly, instead of getting info about their stuff from someone else and it possibly being wrong. :eek:

    W3J's HD is a 100GB Fujitsu 5400rpm 8MB cache. Asus seldom take Hitachi HD, might be available in the future.

    Gentech has great service. i ordered my s96j from them on a monday afternoon and I received it Thursday afternoon of the same week, with free shipping. they built it and sent it within 1 day I believe. 3 days for the whole process. Super fast turn around times from gentechpc.
