    Is the new edition, ASUS W5ae availble in black?

    I am really intresetd in buying the new edition of ASUS W5ae, since it has much larger harddrive (100gb) and DVDRW drive, but i dont want the white one. Does anyone know if they are gonna be available in both colors, black and white, just like the W5A. thanks :centrino: :asus:

    Wrong place to put it!

    The Original W5a is white, the black was the 'Special edition' but I'm pretty sure it will be avaliable in both.

    Better ask Justin/Eddie!

    I'm pretty sure the W5Ae only comes in White....
    but ask Justin or Eddie to confirm.

    Not in North America... the W5a came in and became a "limited edition" only because Asus was shipped the wrong color. The new ones with the dvd burner and the 100gb hard drive and 512mb RAM on board are only white.

    .... I'm surprised it's taken this long for someone to make a comment like that.... especially when the black model was more expensive as it was "limited" and "special".

    Isn't that cool. Can't wait until Samsung accidentally ship a lot of laptop to US instead of Canada ^_^. Ooooo.. Someone go mess up their system and make the shipping lable US instead of Canada plz.

    hmmm....interesting! asus has not updated its US site then! guess dealer (Pro Portable) knows better than consumer (urs truly) :)

    are asus laptops available in India?? I am here on vacation and wud like to check them out if I have time! let me know pls..
