This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    All cable locks fit in the same Kensington Security Slot, which is included on every laptop these days (in theory - but some poorer-designed laptops actually cut corners when they designed the location of the slot and it ends up being no more than a cosmetic hole).

    I'm assuming the v1s doesn't fall into the category of a "poorer-designed" laptop then?
