    What do you guys feel? My laptop asus g551vw fy212t has no usb type c. Should I have bought a laptop with usb type c?

    Only if you have any actual peripherals that use it. I personally only use it to charge my phone :D

    I own HTC 10. So should I have bought laptop with usb type c?

    No, phones can use USB type C to type A cables. USB C is still in its infancy.
