I can't seem to locate an Asus direct on Internet. Was trying to see if there is something like Dell Direct where you go straight to Asus, set up the configuration, etc. All I found were resellers/retailers.
Also, is there probably no such thing as Asus coupons??

Correct - reseller / retailer only. For the most part, you can't pick/choose or customize Asus models, or the warranty is void... what you see is what you get.

Correct - Asus sometimes runs MIRebates on old models, but this isn't Dell with coupon discounts.

Thanks for confirming that for me. What I was hoping for mostly was one of those no interest for 6 months pay plans. I did find one reseller that has the 6 month option but unly until 09/30/08 (New Egg).

Another wish of mine is that I could find a place locally which actually has any Asus (not counting EEE) so that I could see one before buying. I have been to all the big places, and even some small ones. Usually when I ask about Asus I get a look like I am from another planet.

    1. Nope.

    2. Best Buy has some models, but mostly the gaming ones. Eddie over at BTOTech has posted videos of many models in his BTOForums.com, check there as it may be the next best thing for you. Else, check the InfoBooth sticky for retailers and see whether any of them are in your State.
