Is there any ASUS notebook to match these stats?

My Acer 5920G broke(with BestBuy's Geeksquad now(free warranty)), and I'll either stay with this amazing laptop(I might have broken it, might not be faulty hardware) or go with another one. To this day I'm still surprised at the deal I got for these specs.

    HD-DVD
nVIDIA 8600M GT(I think many Asus laptops have this)
    2 GB RAM
    Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz
    HDMI

    All for $1099!

One of the big things that I care about is HDMI. Today's flat panels are using HDMI more, and we might get a Pioneer Kuro soon(with 4 HDMI 1.3 inputs!). I wouldn't mind getting an Asus with more Ghz, better resolution, and a bigger size, but are there any Asus laptops with HDMI? I also want HD-DVD because then I don't have to buy a Toshiba HD-DVD player.

    Cnet

It has 1 GB RAM and no HDMI. I'm surprised that Acer is one of the only few(if there are any others) to make a laptop with HDMI and HD-DVD.

I first thought that Asus would have an alternative so I posted here, but then thought that there might be other companies. I had more trust in Asus so I just decided to keep both and post them both. Is there some software that will automatically pick the same text up though? I mean I'm not trying to do anything bad or anything, just trying to get more advice.

Please refrain from cross posting. It clutters up the forum and is agaisnt the forum rules.
