Ok this has me stumped.
I plug in a line level signal into my mic in and a pop up asks me to choose the input type I have connected. I choose Line In but when I record there is nothing! If I max out the output from my dj mixer I get slight distortion peaks but otherwise its dead.
Sometimes I get the sound recording from built in mic instead of the mic/line input. Unless i mute the mic channel on software mixer.
Ive got the latest Realtek drivers. The software mixer gives me Mic Volume and Stereo Mix levels which I cannot adjust. I can only adjust the overal record level.
Has anyone figured out how to record a line in signal or is this software bull****ting me into thinking the C90s has a line in?

Line in works for me. You need to set it up somewhere weird.

Somewhere weird huh..
well thanks that really helps! Have you only ever done it once before?
Its gotta be somewhere awfully wierd cos I just cant get mine to work and im certainly not retarded when it comes to these kind of things - I have a degree in recording arts..
This is really pissin me off... I cant wait for RME to release an express card version of the HDSP sound card cos at the moment Im crippled.
I would love to know how you manage to switch between line and mic and what controls are available to you in the software mixer. Maybe my input is faulty!?

Sorry. I was in the middle of some homework when i responded. I changed it in the realtek sound manager.
Is there really an Audio Line Input on C90s?
