I have a ERGO VISTA Laptop

Basically its riddled with viruses so i need to do a clean install

    but i cant find drivers

The official site says i need to insert the serial number but the sticker has worn over time due to the heat so is useless. The box i dont have

The bios doesnt show serial number

I need win xp drivers for it but cant find them

so was wondering if it is indeed a rebadged ASUS as if it is then i can work from there

That is indeed an Asus (M6000 series, M6N model). The drivers are available from the Asus website.

Alternatively, the microsoft generic drivers will let you get it re-installed, and then using device manager to check the dev_XXXX and ven_XXXX id, you can just look for specific driver packages.
