Today, when I removed the plastic screen thing that was on my laptop when I got it, I noitced that there was some space between the bottom of the LCD screen and the plastic in both sides where the speakers are.
I think I can fit a dime possibiliy in, just asking whether this is normal or should I go back to my vendor and see why it is...

Im sorry if my description isnt really good, but english has always been my worst subject and that's why I'm taking physics in univeristy :p

It shouldn't be too big of a gap, but if you can fit a dime in I think it might be too big.

Call your reseller, where you bought it, and ask them if they can fix that.

    Cheers,
    mike

I just tried pulling on mine and it doesn't really move. I was just using my finger nail on it.

Yeah take it in for proper fitting of the screen bezel.

Oh snap, you have a Z70V. See if you can trade it in for a Z70Va since you're not happy with your current one. Say it and be forceful. Say something like, "I paid a lot of money for a quality system and this is what I get!?!?!?!? I'm not happy with this sytem, I would like to switch to this one, the Asus Z70Va, I will pay the difference, but I demand you switch systems for me."

    :D

    lol,

yeah I will try but they will probably end up saying it's not to big of a deal and they will probably tell me to leave it or something.

I am happy with my Z70V, but at the time I got it I was a bit of a newbie and didnt know that the performance difference betweent the x600 and x700 was a generation gap. I though the x700 was probably about the same performance difference between the x600 and x300.

alweky, nah your system is great~! The x600 will handle plenty of games.

Remember resellers always try to make things seem like it's not a big deal, but if you insist they will listen because they have to. You spent YOUR money at THEIR place of business so they better live up to their GREAT customer service and make you happy or ELSE.

    Rawr.

Don't let them fool you into thinking, "Yeah, it's not as bad as I thought." A lot of resellers are great at manipulation and mind games.
