    Hi!

I know that there are a lot the same threads (and i've read all of them), but i still haven't found the answer of this question... ((((

Did anyone solve this problem?? I have this issue with my asus G71 A1.
I deleted the MS Office 2007 using "Revo Uninstaller" and i suppose that some necessary records in register were deleted. So, now i always have a message when i log in:

    "Runtime Error!
    ...\Direct Console.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Well, it doesn't work and i don't know what to do. :(

I've already reinstalled the Microsoft C++ Runtime Library (from here-> 64 bit:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en),
reinstalled Direct Console 2.0 (from my support CD), ATK0100 driver (from my support CD), ATK_Hotkeys (from my support CD), ATKMedia (from my support CD), ATKOSD2 (from my support CD) and AGFNEX(ATK Generic Function Service for Vista 64 bit), but it hasn't helped... (Maybe i've forgot something???)

I really can't understand why it works when i choose "Run as administrator" in Start menu... In what a difference?...

If you solved this problem, please tell me how. Thanks in Advance.

I am not sure that i have right understood you..

I know that this message is created because there is checked direct console box in autorun, but if i try to start it by myself i have the same message and it doesn't work.

(Also i have a strange messages before "Runtime error..." from Outlook 2007 (it's in the MS Office 2007)) it says that outlook can't work and should be closed (so, Direct console try to open Outlook???)

Or you mean that problem is in "Revo Uninstaller"'s autorun?

    I did it! :)
But i am shocked, the problem was in MS Office 2007 SP2.
I had deleted Office and DC started working, i had reinstalled Office and the problem appeared again!!!

I don't know why, but without Office SP2 it works! (When i had Office SP1 there wasn't this problem). :)

But now i should make a choice what to have Direct Console or MS Office (with SP1 DC doesn't work also)...

Does anyone know how i can use its both??
