I am running Windows Vista 32-bit, Home Premium, on my F3sv X1.

I have issues going to sleep or hibernate while I am in "Battery Power" under P4G.

It works fine while using "High Performance" on the other hand.

I am using the latest video card drivers from Asus, and have updated to the latest BIOS, v. 207.

Any ideas what might be happening?

I know that Vista has issues with hibernation and sleep on laptops, but none of the problems I have read about match the issue I have...

    What are the issues?
    Does it do anything?
Or do you have the impression it goes all the way but simply does not turn off?
Does it become schizophrenic and thinks it is a boy instead of a laptop? ;)

LOL, if anything it thinks its a spaceship...

But I think you nailed it when you said, "Or do you have the impression it goes all the way but simply does not turn off?"

It seems to turn off the screen and start processing everything to go for a sleep, but then it just sits there idling, with everything still powered on.

Otherwise try also updating ACPI drivers.
