I have a problem with the keyboard with this laptop. A host of keys don't work. It is also causing problems with software in that I think keyboard is resetting a certain software because it thinks that certain keys are being pressed to cause a reset
I want to know how I can replace the keyboard as a whole, because it seems to be stuck firmly in place with the assembly of the bezel. I have tried to scrape of some of the bezel, but it doesn't seem to be loosening.

You can try following the instructions below and re-seating your keyboard. To get the keyboard replaced you would need to contact ASUS or the vendor you purchased the system from.

I have seen that video countless of times. I can't even seem to get it out in order to re-seat it

My notebook ASUS N550JV also had failures on the keys (Z, B, N, Space Bar, Up & Down arrow, Enter).
The problem was solved by removing the CTRL and SHIFT keys (left) and cleaning the contact with Liquid Contact Cleaner. In addition, a plastic that protects the dust entry on the keyboard was locking the button mechanism.
According to the forums it seems to be a problem in this ASUS notebook series.Last edited: Feb 6, 2018 -
I fixed the problem by replacing the whole keyboard itself. Quite a job in all honesty, too late for you to reply when it happened.
Yes, I was sweating thinking the whole laptop wasn't going to work after, but it did thankfully -

Had I known this, and this was the exact problem, it would have saved me over £100 to fix, and it would have conserved a lot of air, lol
