Just Placed my order for a A8jM with Portable One

Hi Guys,

Thank you everybody for your insightful comments and advise. I have finally made my decision and feel very relieved. I am sure that I made the right choice based on my current and future computing needs.

These are my final specs.

1.83 Ghz 667 MHz | Indoor UVA Display | 2 GB DDR2 667MHz
80 GB 7200 RPM HDD ( I have a 120 GB External HDD )
Internal BT 2.0 EDR
NVidia GeForce Go7600 512MB VRAM ( Obviously )

Ivan if you are seeing this post, can you answer these questions for me and also for your prospective customers

1. Is the 80GB 7K HDD shock mounted?.

2. What is Embedded Trusted Platform Module Security (TPM 1.2) ?

Hey, congrats on the purchase, I think you'll be quite happy with it

Anyway... to get answers from P1, you'd prob be better posting it in the PortableOne forum instead of the ASUS, I think they do frequent that forum, but not this one.

Nice choice. If nothing "new" comes up around september I might pick one from them myself. Btw, I think the HDD is shockmounted (aren't most HDD these days shock mounted?).
