Well, the model a lot of you have been waiting for has started to arrive... I know it's too rich for some people's blood, but the specs were sweetened..

    $2,799
    WUXGA Glaretype LCD (1920 x 1200)
    1 x HD-DVD Burner
    2GB DDR2 667
    160GB/5400RPM SATA (seagate perdendicular recording)

Units are still coming with MCE.... Vista models will take another month and half or so.

    Hi Justin,

Do you know the model or at least the specifications of the optical drive (slot-in? 8x DVD-R/+R? ...) ?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

I don't know the model without looking at it, but it's a 1 x DVD-DVD burner..... it's tray load... it also does regular dvds at I believe is 8x, but something wants me to say it very well may be 4x... but the claim to fame for the drive is it's the first HD-DVD at 12.7mm
