Hey, I'm looking to buy my first laptop and I'm gonna take it up to school this Fall, and I have my eye on an ASUS, but a quick question first. Yes...this is most likely a newb question, but considering I have searched for a solid answer for a while and I cant find it, I figured I'd ask. So with the W3J and the S96j and so on that everyone has on this forum, are those all barebones and then user built? I don't think I will have a problem considering I build my current desktop, just curious. I looked in the FAQ but I couldn't find a definitive answer. Thanks guys!

ASUS has 2 different kinds of notebooks
1. Built On ASUS models where you can customize and build your own specs, such as the S96J and Z96J
2. Ensembles which are pre-built and cannot be customized without voiding the ASUS warranty. Some resellers will replace this with their own warranty if allowing customization. Some ensembles are entry level such as the A8, A6 models, and some higher levels like the W3, V6 models which use better quality materials.
Just a quick question
