    Now that you are hooked on wireless. I presume you have a 2200BG card on your M6R. Could you please give me some ping times to your wireless router from your notebook.

    Make sure you have Intel Proset controlling your intel 2200BG and with the M6R plugged in ping to your wireless router and note times. Then unplug ( in battery mode) and note ping times again.

    Then go to Intel Proset /Adapter/Configure and change "Auto" to "Manual" leaving the slider on Max performance.

    THen recheck ping times in Ac mode and then in Battery mode. I am trying to identify a problem I have noted with my M5N/ Intel 2200BG setup and would welcome some figures from other Intel 2200BG useres thanks

    My Wireless card is not Intel, it's has an ATI chipset!
