    Just got my G1....what do i do?

    This is my first laptop and i don't know what to do...like reinstalling windows and other stuff....
    If i install xp can i later change it back to vista with the recovery CD??

    Yes you have full capabilities to choose which OS you want to use provided you have the CDs and Recovery Discs.

    Are you planning on going to XP? I would not only suggest it because it performs well but also because there's a guide nicely written by EBE on this.

    Congrats on your new purchase!

    I assume you purchased it to play some games if so, I suggest you to install Windows XP since games perform much MUCH better under XP than under Vista.
