Ameer, where did you get your U80V? (Let me guess, it's outside the US?)

I really want one of these. I am hoping that something else just like the U80A becomes available soon.

Does anyone know of any other computer that is less than 5 lbs, and has a somewhat decent video card?

What size and how decent? You can get other 13.3 and 14" notebooks that have class 2 GFX cards and weigh 5lbs

    Macbook 13
    Lenovo Y450
Sony Vaio SR (best gfx card out of this lot)

Some people that could not deal with the uncertainty of the U80V went to the Vaio SR.

im looking at the lenovo y450.. the sr looks like it has the same video card as the u80v? (4570)..

the SRs are slightly prohibitively expensive in canada.

I'd like something under 5lbs more than id like something a specific size. i used to have a dell 700m (12") and found it large enough....

i originally wanted a sony z (by originally, i mean last year at around this time i was close to getting a z), but the price and graphics was a little to hi and a little to low.

im hoping that a U80B or the UL80A is close to the U80A. They're nice notebooks.

From everything I have seen the UL80 is exactly the same which makes me wonder what is going on. The U80V is thin but not as thin as the other UL notebooks (UL30, UL50).

The Y450 was my first choice until I saw the U80V. The Y450 is very nice. Not as nice looking as the U series, but very light, well built, and an okay gpu (GT 105M).

Which games are you looking to play?
