I bought the A6Jc today but have a few questions. Is it normal normal that the computer checks the disk for errors on the very first startup? That's what mine did. This is my very fist notebook so I don't know much about these things. Also, how do I check the speed of my harddrive, if it's 4200 or 5400rpm?

    Help!

As for checking disk for errors, it's usually Windows XP that does it at certain times, mainly if previously XP was shutdown improperly or crash...

    Should be quite fine.
